Our Food

One probably thinks of spices simply as flavouring for food.
Yet, the word “spice” comes from the Latin species, which means an item of special value. To us at Naan & Kabob, our food is of special value. We carefully source our fresh ingredients and produce from local markets. Passionately craft recipes to trigger nostalgic images of our childhood. Marinate our fresh, antibiotic free, halal meat with exotic spices of the East to instil the authentic flavours of home. We’d like to think of our menu as an artist’s canvas, painting a flavourful masterpiece by skillfully mixing aroma and freshness to bring priceless moments of joy with every bite.

review rating 4  Food was very good. A bit pricey for the quantity compared to similar restaurants in the suburbs. Would definitely go again.

review rating 4  Great tasting food. I tried the Tandoori chicken with rice and naan; it was excellent. The optional curry chicken side dish was not as great, but still tasty. I like how lean the cuts of meat are. The service is good. Its a bit pricey, but worth it.

review rating 5  A wonderful place to grab a meal during a busy workday or while strolling through the area as I did. Many different variations on the classic kebab are available, along with mango smoothies and other beverages. Sitting down with a pager while waiting for my order was surprisingly enjoyable as the chairs are comfortable & the décor pleasant. If you've got the time try making your way to the upper floor as there's a tea room setup with what appears to be traditional Afghan furniture, plus less noise than downstairs. Overall 10/10 terrifically recommended

review rating 4  Visited with friends a month ago. Good food and ambiance. Friendly staff and not too long of a waiting time. So worth a visit if you haven't been here yet. There is a beautifully decorated tea house upstairs as well.

review rating 4  Pretty good shish kabobs. It seemed fresh and i was quite happy with the food. It is a lot of carbs so i wasn't able to finish but i have leftovers for the next day. The flavor was spot on and the salad had a nice acidity that went well with the dish. I'm not particularly fond of the kabob sauce and would've liked more garlic in it. Overall i would come back.
