Our Food

One probably thinks of spices simply as flavouring for food.
Yet, the word “spice” comes from the Latin species, which means an item of special value. To us at Naan & Kabob, our food is of special value. We carefully source our fresh ingredients and produce from local markets. Passionately craft recipes to trigger nostalgic images of our childhood. Marinate our fresh, antibiotic free, halal meat with exotic spices of the East to instil the authentic flavours of home. We’d like to think of our menu as an artist’s canvas, painting a flavourful masterpiece by skillfully mixing aroma and freshness to bring priceless moments of joy with every bite.

review rating 5  Amazing food, service and ambience! Had the chicken and veggie kebab platters and both were great especially paired with the mango smoothie. Love the decor in the Afghan team room!

review rating 4  Superbly tasty and great for a quick bite with lots of flavour. Try the lamb shank, the rice with carrots is delicious. Only one feedback would be to serve the food a bit warmer, it can get busy but the mantu (tasty dumplings) always seem to be cold.

review rating 5  A wonderful place to grab a meal during a busy workday or while strolling through the area as I did. Many different variations on the classic kebab are available, along with mango smoothies and other beverages. Sitting down with a pager while waiting for my order was surprisingly enjoyable as the chairs are comfortable & the décor pleasant. If you've got the time try making your way to the upper floor as there's a tea room setup with what appears to be traditional Afghan furniture, plus less noise than downstairs. Overall 10/10 terrifically recommended

review rating 5  A minute's walk from the Bloor-Yonge TTC Station, this restaurant is quite a gem. The positives: the food is flavorful and plentiful, an order for one is actually a lot of food. The staff are very kind and are generally quick. The wait times are short and the premises are often clean. The decor is modern, yet comfortable. The food is also halal, which makes it even better! Prices are generally okay but on the pricier side of things. Their tomato chutney is sweet, savory and special. The negatives: Often a lack of seating due to their popularity. A spot we've returned to many times since our first visit...

review rating 5  Very surprised at how good the food was. Looks like a fast-food place, but meals appear to be individually prepared. Several locations around Toronto. Well worth a visit.
